In the year 2000, Doral Conservatory and School of the Arts, made the commitment to foster the Arts and Culture in a community called Doral, in Miami, Florida. Today, this wonderful city has a warm and energetic population of more than twenty thousand, and this center serves as a landmark of this wonderful town.


With this same energy and dedication, Doral Conservatory and School of the Arts, has received many awards for its quality programs and services that include Pre-School in the morning hours, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, and Music. ​

When they opened their doors they welcomed children and adults feeling great passion for Arts and Music. They obtained almost immediate recognition when the center was awarded the “Successful Business” label from the Tallahassee Capitol during its first year. The partners evolved the project into this wonderful haven where students can free their spirits and creativity to become wholesome human beings.



Today, Doral Conservatory and School of the Arts operates in a beautiful 4,000 sq. ft. location, with a staff of professionals specialized in their fields allowing them to offer quality programs to all their students.

Focus

The Doral Conservatory and School of the Arts is devoted to the study and practice of Music, Visual Arts and Performing Arts. We offer first-rate education that gives students advanced skills with professional faculty who mastered their craft and teach from the heart.

The Future Sounds Good

Doral Conservatory plans to continue to expand their programs. Being the epicenter of the Arts in Doral, the goal is to expand the reach of the conservatory by incorporating new programs of a variety of instruments, levels, and techniques. 

Our teachers

CARMEN ROSA OLIVA 

Musician, Pianist, Theory and Solfeo Instructor 

CARMEN ROSA OLIVA is a Musician, Pianist, Theory and Solfeo Instructor and Chorus Conducting Technique Instructor from Cuba. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) of Habana Cuba (1983-1988) and she is a certified teacher since 2015 to present students at “Stage Masters Music Examinations” in Miami, Florida.


 With more than 30 years of experience she achieves many titles like: Singing Teacher, Instructor of Chorus and Director of The Children Chorus at Alejandro Garcia Caturla Music Elementary School (Habana,Cuba. 1988-1992); Assistant Chorus Director of Cuba National Opera (1989-1990); Vice Director of the Cuba Nacional Chorus (1990-1993); Chorus Director of Polyphonum Male Chorus (Caracas, Venezuela); Director of the Children Chorus, instructor of piano, theory and solfeo, and instructor of chorus technique of Jose Antonio Calcano Foundation (Caracas, Venezuela. 1994-1997), piano instructor and Director of the cathedra of Piano and Music Initiation at Ascanio Negretti Music Education Center (Caracas, Venezuela. 1994-2001), music and piano instructor at Emil Friedman College (Caracas, Venezuela. 1994-2004) and Ms. Oliva works as piano instructor and kinder-music teacher at Doral Conservatory School of The Arts since 2005.


CARLOS PUCHI 

Vocal Instructor, Bassist, Vocalist & Music Producer

Is a Musician, Pianist, Theory and Solfeo Instructor and Chorus Conducting Technique Instructor from Cuba. MARIE DAUTANT

Instructor of Visual Arts & Art History

Is an Instructor of Visual Arts & Art History from Venezuela, she holds an Associates in Art from Cristobal Rojas School of Arts (1974), a Bachelor’s in Interior Design from Villasmil de Leon Design Institute (1976) and Child Care and Education from Miami Dade College (2012).

Over 40 years of experience, she is a creative with a strong passion for introducing students to the interactive world of arts. Adept at teaching art without a computer, making an instant connection with students and creating lesson plans that are entertaining to students.

Some of Ms. Dautant achievements are: Interior Designer, expert in Space Planning (Venezuela 1975-2011, Aruba 1988-2005, South Florida 1994-2006); Visionary Mural Designer (Venezuela 1979-2011, South Florida 2004-2012) and teacher experience since 2012.
