Carlos Puchi

Voice

Bassist, vocalist, and musical producer, is a man with charisma and accessibility. He has been a producer for Franco De Vita, as well as a musical director for Guaco, Karina, Pedro Castillo, José Luis Rodríguez (“El Puma’) along with many other artists. For over four decades, Puchi has created at least 30 commercial brands for all Latin-American and United States. He has composed and produced music for more than 8 TV shows for Univisión, Galavisión, Telefutura, Venevisión, and Mega TV. He has received two Latin Grammy awards; one in 2007 for his participation in “Fuzionando” (Oscar D’León), and another in 2010 for his participation in Ilan Chester’s album that was nominated for best contemporary folk album. He has been teaching at Doral Conservatory for around 10 years as a vocal coach.

Carmen Rosa is an integral musician. Not only is she a wonderfully piano teacher, her experience as a Assistant Chorus Director of the Cuba National Chorus, amplify her camp of work. She has more than 17 years of experience working with Kids. She has a Bachelors degree in Music from Instituto Superior del Arte (ISA), Havana, Cuba. During her years living in Venezuela, she worked with the most prestigious schools of Music in Caracas, Jose Antonio Calcano Foundation, for more than 7 years as children Chorus Director and Chorus conducting Technique Instructor. Ascanio Negretti Music Education Center, for 7 years she worked as a piano instructor, Music Initiation instructor for kindergarten students and Cathedra of Piano and Music Initiation Director. Emil Friedman College for more than 10 years, as a Piano and Solfege & Theory Instructor and Music Initiation Instructor for Kindergarten students 10 years has been working as a piano teacher at Doral Conservatory & School of The Arts. She also is a Solfege & Theory Instructor. Since September 1994 to present she is working in our PK, Kids Village, as a Music Initiation Instructor for Kindergarten students.

Osnel Rodriguez

Guitar

Studied in “National School of Art” in Havana, Cuba with the teachers Rey Guerra and Joaquin Ckerch. Continued studies in the “Instituto Superior de Arte”, with Leo Brouwer and Jesus Ortega, taught by legend like David Russell, Eliot Fiths, Manuel Barrueco, John Williams. Participated in very important festivals all over the world. Finalist in competitions in Granada, Spain, Athens, Greece, São Paulo, Brazil, La Plata, Argentina. Award to the best interpretation named EGREM.

Luisa Duarte

Violin

Luisa started her musical training at the age of 12. In 1993 she started her studies at the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Colombia where in 1997 she participated as a violinist until 2006. She became a violinist teacher in 1999 and a Music Theory teacher in 2000. She is a certified teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas and has received Suzuki Teacher Training in Bogota with internationally renowned Teacher Caroline Fraser in 2002 and 2006. She has played as violinist with the Hollywood Philharmonic (Hollywood, Florida); The South Beach Chamber Ensemble (Miami, Florida); Yossi Bayles Orchestra, International School of Music (Miami, Florida). She was also member of the “Caribbean String Quartet” and is Member of the Miami Symphony Orchestra , MISO. Luisa has played with many internationally renowned artists as: Andrea Bocelli, Wisin & Yandel, Cristian Castro, Diego Verdaguer, Ricardo Montaner, Patty Manterola, David Bisbal, Jose Jose, Marco Antonio Solis, Olga Tanon, Luis Fonsi, Il Divo, Jennio Rivera, Mana, Il Volo, Franco de Vita and many others. Luisa is our violin instructor and kinder music teacher at our PreK Kids Village and is also director of the program Orquestra Steps.
